Photoshop... So pretty cold
Photo composed on January 2, 2008 after a snowfall.
Using quick keys, Auto Level is applied to the composition.
Original image layer is copied and Color Burn is applied with a 50% opacity. The Color Burn layer is then copied and a faux lomo effect is created using Layer Mask -- 50% opacity.
For a different composition -- something with a bit more contrast -- The Color Burn layer is copied, desaturated, and changed to multiply at 100% opacity. The original Color Burn layer is changed to Overlay at 100% opacity. The faux lomo layer remains unchanged.
